Crossroads Law Recognized as One of BIV's Top 100 Fastest-Growing Companies

What Our Growth Means for the Families We Serve

If you've come to us, chances are life looks different than you pictured it. Maybe a marriage is ending. Maybe someone you love has passed away. Maybe you're doing everything you can to protect your children through something hard. Whatever it is, it's a lot to carry, and carrying it can feel lonely.

We know an award doesn't change any of that. It can't make a hard conversation easier or lift the weight you're feeling right now. So, we won't pretend it’s news that means much to you. But there's a reason we're sharing it, and it has less to do with us than it might seem.

For the fourth year, Crossroads Law has been named one of Business in Vancouver's Top 100 Fastest-Growing Companies. On paper, that's a business story: expansion, momentum, growth. But for a family law firm, growing is really about how many people we're able to reach and help.

When you're facing a family law issue, the hardest part often isn't the law. It's getting through the door at all. Studies suggest that roughly 80% of Canadians with a serious legal problem never get legal help, not because they don't need it, but because they can't find someone in time, can't reach anyone close to home, or simply can't afford it. When a firm like ours grows, one built around real people, that gap gets a little smaller. That's the part of this we care about. The more we grow, the more we can invest in the people, resources, and support that make sure help is there when it's needed.

Here's what that growth meant this past year. We added lawyers and staff, so when you call, someone can take your case sooner. We opened an office in Edmonton, so more families have help close to home. And we grew what we do, adding civil and estate litigation to what we offer, so that if things get more complicated, you don't have to start over somewhere new. We can stay with you and see it through.

None of that happens on its own. Our lawyers, coaches, support staff, and operations team show up every day because they believe family law should be more human and more reachable.

So, if you take one thing from this, let it be that there's more help available than there used to be. You don't have to face it alone, and the first conversation is always free. That's the part we're proud of.
