Chyanne recognizes that the justice system can be intimidating and is highly skilled at helping her clients navigate one of the most difficult times of their lives. While her initial approach is to resolve family law matters reasonably and amicably, she understands that court is sometimes necessary to achieve the right outcome.  

Versatile Expertise in Family Law Matters

Chyanne has appeared in the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of BC and has successfully run family law trials. She is caring and compassionate and is fiercely confident in court when advocating for her clients. She can help on all areas of family law including family violence, parenting, child and spousal support, property division, parental alienation, and prenuptial and separation agreements. 

Chyanne obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History at the University of Victoria. Thereafter, she received her Juris Doctor from Bond University where she graduated with distinction. She has several years of family law experience as a legal assistant and paralegal prior to becoming a lawyer. Her extensive procedural knowledge is a huge asset when choosing to work with her. 

Bridging the Justice Divide – Making Legal Help Accessible

Chyanne is an executive member on the Canadian Bar Association B.C. committee for unbundled legal services and is committed to working with legal organizations to create different types of resources and legal services available to help close the access to justice gap. 

Outside of the office, Chyanne enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and family, and exploring the beautiful West Coast with her golden retriever.
