Cindy Marshall is an experienced senior family lawyer, children's lawyer, and mediator. Before pursuing a career in law, she studied in a combined music and education program with the goal of becoming a music and French immersion teacher. During her studies, she worked as a substitute teacher for several years before beginning her legal career as an articling student at a national law firm. Cindy was also a competitive athlete, competing at the university, provincial, and national levels.

Cindy draws on her broad skill set to provide her clients with focused, disciplined, thoughtful and accurate legal advice with effective representation. It is important to Cindy that her clients understand all aspects of their case, and she takes the time to do so. When helping families in mediation, Cindy's background, direct style, and practical problem-solving skills help the parties reach resolution. Cindy understands that families are trying to navigate the complexities of their individual situations, and she draws on her creativity to help them find a path forward.

Her contributions to the legal community have earned her several honours, including the 2024 Women in Law Leadership (WILL) Award for Leadership in the Community, the 2019 Volunteer Award from the Association des juristes de l'expression française, and Calgary Legal Guidance's 2016 Alan D. Hunter Award for Volunteer of the Year.

Outside of work, Cindy enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
