Her primary focus is to resolve conflict while minimizing emotional and financial strain for all parties involved. To that end, Jade emphasizes a collaborative and settlement-focused approach, advocating strongly for her clients' interests through negotiation, mediation, and other alternative dispute resolution processes.

For couples who are seeking advice before cohabitation or marriage, Jade takes the time to truly comprehend the underlying motivations and interests of each client before preparing a comprehensive agreement or providing legal advice. Throughout the drafting process, Jade is careful and attentive, ensuring the final agreement accurately reflects your desires while providing certainty and protection moving forward.

If an alternative method or an agreement is not the best way forward, Jade is prepared to take your case to court. In law school, she received the Richard R. Sugden, QC Award in recognition of her outstanding achievement in Advanced Trial Advocacy. She also spent a full semester as a clinician with the Rise Women’s Legal Centre, where she assisted women and gender-diverse clients with family law matters.

Outside of the office, Jade is a published poet and a small art business owner. She loves to cross-stitch, lift weights, and spend time with her family and beloved cats, Anastasia and Misha.
