Welcoming Neema Khalili, Our Newest Articling Student in Calgary

It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome Neema Khalili to our Calgary team as the newest articling student at Crossroads Law!
Neema brings a strong foundation in client care and legal procedure, shaped by three years of experience as a legal assistant. He further honed his skills through hands-on advocacy with Student Legal Assistance at the University of Calgary, where he provided legal information and representation to underserved individuals, appearing in provincial court on family, criminal, and civil matters. Through these early experiences, Neema developed strong advocacy skills and practical legal insight—qualities he brings to his articling role today—while deepening his commitment to access to justice.
Neema’s approach to family law is rooted in empathy, clarity, and respect. He believes every client deserves to be heard, informed, and supported throughout their legal journey. He’s also a passionate advocate for alternative dispute resolution and takes care to reduce conflict whenever possible, helping clients reach lasting, respectful solutions that work for their families.
Born and raised in Calgary, Neema is proud to serve the community he calls home. His approachable and client-centred style reflects his belief that legal services should be accessible to all.
Please join us in giving Neema a warm welcome as he begins his articling journey with Crossroads Law. We look forward to seeing the positive impact he will make on our clients and our community!
