Ramsha Javed

Ramsha Javed is a dedicated family lawyer who approaches every file with empathy, patience, and practical insight. She understands that family law matters carry significant emotional weight and prioritizes clear guidance and communication, so her clients feel supported at every step.

Her legal career is shaped by her early work as a bodily injury adjuster with several well-known Canadian insurers, followed by practice in personal injury law. Together, these experiences gave her valuable insight into claim evaluation, negotiation strategy, and conflict resolution—skills that now help her craft settlement-focused solutions for her family law clients. This well-rounded perspective has made her a resolute and strategic advocate, attuned to the unique needs and goals of the clients she serves.

Ramsha aims to ensure clients feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout the legal process. She takes time to understand each client’s circumstances in a holistic way, recognizing that family law matters often affect many aspects of a person’s life and that no two cases are alike. While she believes matters can often be resolved through cooperative approaches, she’s also prepared to attend at court, should litigation be necessary. Ramsha holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of Calgary, including a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, before earning her law degree from the University of Leicester. She is fluent in Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi, and is proud to support Calgary’s diverse communities through culturally responsive legal service. She’s an active member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Calgary Bar Association, and the Association of Women Lawyers. Ramsha also volunteers with Calgary Legal Guidance and serves as Treasurer for the Pakistan Canada Association, reflecting her commitment to community service and accessible justice.

Outside of work, Ramsha enjoys spending time with her family and friends, visiting the mountains, relaxing with a good Netflix series, and reading books whenever she can carve out some quiet time.
