Madeline Nykiforuk is a dedicated legal assistant in our Calgary office who brings hands-on legal experience.

Before moving into family law, she worked in real estate and condominium law, developing a keen eye for detail and a practical understanding of property-related matters. That foundation is a real asset in family law, where files frequently intersect with property matters.

Her career began outside the law, in retail management, which sharpened the organization, clear communication, and on-the-spot problem-solving that anchor her work today. For clients, that means a calm, capable point of contact who keeps files moving, anticipates what's needed next, and stays responsive every step of the way.

Madeline is drawn to family law because it lets her support people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. For her, looking after a client means making sure each person feels informed and heard from the first call to the final signature. Her compassionate, client-focused approach helps take some of the weight off, so clients can face sensitive matters feeling supported rather than overwhelmed.

Outside the office, Madeline enjoys hiking and long walks with her dog, cooking, and unwinding with a bit of reality television.
