At Crossroads Law, we are dedicated to preparing our students to become skilled lawyers. We place a strong emphasis on developing our team through guided mentorship, training, and teamwork. As an articling student, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our knowledgeable family lawyers and gain a wide range of hands-on experience.
- Conduct legal research
- Draft and review documents, contracts, and pleadings
- Assist senior lawyers in preparing for court and client meetings
- Attend court as required
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders
- Participate in firm-organized training and development programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Successful completion of a JD or LLB from a faculty of common law at a Canadian university
- Eligible for membership with the Law Society of Alberta or the Law Society of British Columbia as a student-at-law at the time articles are to commence
- Academic excellence

- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to effectively multitask and manage several matters
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in customer service or working with the general public
