Neema Khalili
Driven by a passion for advocacy and access to justice, Neema is an articling student who supports clients through some of life’s most difficult transitions with empathy and skill.
Before law school, Neema worked as a legal assistant for three years, where he gained a strong foundation in legal procedures, client communication, and case management. This hands-on experience deepened his understanding of the legal system and prepared him for the realities of legal practice. During law school, Neema continued to build on this foundation by volunteering and working at Student Legal Assistance, where he provided legal information and representation to underserved individuals. Through this work, he developed strong advocacy skills and appeared in the Provincial Court of Alberta on family, criminal, and civil matters—gaining invaluable courtroom and client-facing experience early in his legal career.
